1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using TiLingo, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Accounts and Eligibility
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activities under your account.
TiLingo is not intended for users who are below the age at which they may independently use digital services or consent to personal data processing under applicable law in their jurisdiction. If you have not reached that age, use TiLingo only with permission of a parent or legal guardian where permitted by law.
3. Service Description
TiLingo provides translation and language-learning tools, including account-based sync for flashcards and related content, optional paid subscription features, and free-tier ad-supported usage.
Service features may change, be updated, or be discontinued over time.
4. Subscriptions, Billing, and Renewals
- Subscriptions are sold via Apple App Store and Google Play.
- Subscriptions may auto-renew unless canceled through your store account settings.
- Prices, trial availability, billing dates, and taxes are shown by your store provider.
- Subscription state/entitlement is managed through third-party subscription service providers and store data.
- Refund requests are handled according to Apple/Google policies.
5. Advertising
At this time, TiLingo displays non-personalized ads only.
We do not enable third-party behavioral tracking or third-party analytics in the app.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of content you create or upload (for example, flashcards, notes, and images).
You grant TiLingo a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, synchronize, transmit, display, backup, and technically modify your content only as needed to operate and improve service functionality.
You are responsible for ensuring your content is lawful and does not violate third-party rights.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use TiLingo for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or harmful activity
- Upload content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
- Attempt unauthorized access, interference, or disruption of service systems
- Reverse engineer or misuse the service beyond what law permits
8. Intellectual Property
Except for your user content, TiLingo app software, branding, interface elements, and related materials are owned by Aleksei Maksimov (TiLingo) or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
9. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to TiLingo if we reasonably believe there is a violation of these Terms, abuse, a security risk, or a legal requirement.
You may stop using TiLingo at any time. For account/data deletion requests, contact support@tilingo.app.
10. Disclaimer
TiLingo is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, complete accuracy of translations, or error-free availability at all times.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TiLingo and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill resulting from use of the service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for TiLingo subscriptions during the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use of TiLingo after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
